Children need a power packed diet during their early years. As they are growing every second, it is extremely crucial that they are given a diet which is rich in all the nutrients. If they are not given a well balanced diet during their growing years, there are high chances that they will develop deficiency or problem of any sort by the time they are twenty.
These ten classic dishes will pep up the palatte of your children and at the same time, they will fulfill the nutrient requirements of their body.

1) OATS PANCAKE- Oats are one of the most versatile super food available in the market. There are different varieties of oats, each having a different taste. One of the best dishes which can be made out of oats is oats pancake. You can add nutritious veges to the already nutritious oats to increase the overall quality of the dish.

2) SPINACH RICE- You would have heard about lemon rice but spinach rice? Don't worry. Spinach rice is another scrumptious yet healthy dish. In Southern India, it is sold under the name "spinach khichdi" in different restaurants. You can also add a zing of asofoetida to the dish to enrich your taste buds.

3) DARK CHOCOLATE BROWNIE/ FUDGE- Every child loves chocolate brownie. Chocolate fudge is another great alternative to chocolate brownie. Super moms must prepare these dishes with dark chocolate for their kids. Dark chocolate is the healthiest chocolate and is full of essential anti oxidants. You can also add some diced and crushed walnuts or almonds for some crunch.

4) DATES PUDDING- This is a super rich sweet dish which is loved by people from all the age groups. As the name suggests, dates pudding or dates nougat is made up of dates which are a super food and full of necessary vitamins and minerals.

5) GRAPE PUDDING- Grape pudding is an Iranian sweet dish. It is only made up of fresh grapes and raisins. There is no sugar added to it. It is a very healthy option for diabetic people. It is loved by children and adults alike. However, it should not be eaten in huge quantities.

6) COLESLAW SANDWICH - Coleslaw is made up of a number of veges. It can include onions, shredded cabbage, lettuce, chives, sprouts etc. When clubbed with sandwich bread, cheese and mayonnaise, children will hog down every morsel of the dish. It is rich in different nutrients. You can also add some finely sliced carrots and beetroot if you want to enhance its nutritional value.

7) FRUIT SALAD OR CREAM Fruit salad or fruit cream can be a great way to make your child eat some fiber rich foods. You can improve the taste of fruits by mixing in some honey or maple syrup with light or heavy cream. You can also add in some chia seeds to increase the nutritional value of the dish.
